Grains futures rise, livestock prices mostly drop (AP)

Grains futures jumped Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for September delivery soared 24.5 cents to $4.815 a bushel; September corn jumped 30 cents to $3.6325 a bushel; November soybeans rose 5.5 cents to $9.175 a bushel; and September oats added 14 cents to $2.64 a bushel.
